Honey Bajaj is a leader in innovation strategy and product development. She is a social entrepreneur with extensive work in India and United States. She is the CEO and Co-founder of Avir Labs - inventing affordable healthcare technologies for the Indian Health System.
Awarded inventor of the year 2016 in San Francisco for spending a decade and demonstrating leadership and technical talent to develop and deliver live saving medical devices, including Embrace a low cost baby warmer which has saved over 200,000 babies across 22 countries.
She has won many accolades among which the most prestigious has been getting a Full Scholarship Award from Tata Trusts for her education at MIT. After joining MIT she was awarded Legatum Entrepreneurship Award in 2016 and MIT D-Lab Fellowship Award 2018
In the past she has worked with organisation like Microsoft Research, Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures ,etc. She has always focused on designing for impact, especially among the largest, poorest segment of the world’s population. She has also led multiple workshops for corporates and schools on design thinking and innovation methodologies. Honey has a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
