Honey Bajaj is a leader in innovation, design and digital solutions. She is a designer, strategist and entrepreneur with extensive work in India and United States. She was a researcher at MIT and co-founded of Avir Technologies for humanising technologies for creating impact in the Indian healthcare system. She is currently heading Special Projects at the Managing Trustee's Office at Tata Trusts.
Awarded inventor of the year 2016 in San Francisco, a decade of Honey's work has demonstrated the leadership and technical talent to develop and deliver outstanding products, including Embrace a low cost baby warmer which has saved over 200,000 babies in the world. In the past she has worked with organisation like Microsoft Research, MIT Media Lab,etc. She has always focused on designing for impact, especially among the largest, poorest segment of the world’s population. She has also led multiple workshops for corporates and schools on design thinking and innovation methodologies.Her vision is to build an organisation to empower and enable impact entrepreneurs in developing countries. She has her masters in Engineering from MIT School of Engineering and Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, Bachelor’s degree in Product & Interface Design from Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology and a BA in English Hons from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. |
