User Interface Design
Fuel stations in India in different spaces are subject to erratic attendance of customers. Sometimes Stations are too under staffed to manage the increasing number of customers while on the other extreme some fuel stations are deserted throughout the day just because of lack of visibility. Indian road travellers often have to go through a mental trauma of managing their fuel such that they reach a fuel station in time before their gas runs out. In a city scenario while one could be stuck in traffic waiting for a fuel station, one could drive for hours without finding one in a highway context.
We proposed an electronic display unit that would provide the viewer various layers of information about different bunks, proximity, price ranges, fuel products and services. This system could also be integrated into the software of a hand held GPS device which would allow for more customisable options for complex interactions. The display is designed to serve the user who will have access to the information without any additional charges.
