WHAT IS METHISO
METHISO(meet-think-solve) has been tailored as a series of classes focused on how the theories on Design Thinking translate into real world, real work experience.Methiso sessions provide new methodologies and new pedagogical approaches that will support students, entrepreneurs, social ventures and education institution to inculcate design thinking as a tool while creating the future environment, infrastructure and lifestyles. The sessions are a deep-dive into design thinking methodology with takeaways of framework and tools to practice and implement the process. I also provide support beyond the workshop session to guide the process based on the project requirement.

METHISO has been conducted for over 4000 individuals at Bombay Stock Exchange, Be a social change - New York, Embrace Innovations, RIME-University of Michigan, Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, Indian School of Business, Maharani Gayatri Devi School Jaipur and in a number of prestigious Engineering colleges in collaboration with Indian School of Business across Andhra Pradesh.

METHISO is for individuals and teams in the social good, non-profit and entrepreneurial community looking to:

This series of workshop will help

  • Teach you how to interact and test your concepts and prototypes with user

Workshop #1 – Design-Thinking from Theory to Practice 
  • Tenets of design-thinking. 
  • Activities, case studies and interactive modeling.    
  • Process for thinking through problems. 
  • Understand how to translate into your daily work and interactions with your team. 
  • How to build the capacity for user-centered empathy. 
  • Ways to efficiently brainstorm. 

Workshop #2 – Design Research to Understand Your Community’s Needs 
  • Strategies for collaboration and user- insight.   
  • Helps you check your assumptions and see beyond them.  
  • Product-service-system techniques for mapping your overall idea.
  • Find out what your audience wants so that your solutions have an impact. 
  • Build a framework for identifying your user’s needs and keys to empathise with your client and community.
  • Clarifies how to engage with your communities, clients and consumer-base by providing a structured approach to ethnographic and design research. 

Workshop #3 – Co-creation and Evaluation 
  • Focussed group discussions.
  • Co-designing can be essential to gain support for new initiatives.  
  • Identifies the tools and strategies to use in order to maximize working with communities and colleagues. 
  • Activities on how to brainstorm and prototyping/testing new ideas in a participatory design process. 
  • Identify tools for creating buy-in from staff or users when promoting a new policy, product, or service, and for engaging with a variety of stakeholders or community members.

You  will  walk away with frameworks and a cube game that can be easily customized to your work and community, providing a regenerating source for creativity and collaboration.
